Weekend Christmas Fun


Things to enjoy all weekend

Christmas Ship Parade: Enjoy boats all decked out with Christmas lights!  They set sail on the Willamette and Columbia almost every evening till December 21.

“Princess and the Pea” Performance (reserve tickets): Each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through December 23, at Theater!Theatre! in SE Portland.


Friday, December 7

Portland Children’s Museum: It’s the first Friday of the month, which means admission is free from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.

Fremont Festival of Lights: Santa will be arriving via fire engine at 5:00 pm. 5pm-9pm.


Beaverton Tree Lighting & Holiday Open House: Activities at Beaverton City Library start at  5:00 pm.  The tree lighting is at 7:00 pm.

Tualatin Starry Nights and Holiday Lights:They will light a floating tree!  There will lots of other fun things too.  Tualatin Commons at 5:30 pm to 8:15 pm.

Multnomah Village Holiday Gala: Who knows why they chose this time, but at 6:42 pm, Santa Claus will light the Christmas tree in front of Village Beads. Also there will be horse-drawn carriage rides and much more. 


Saturday, December 8

West Linn Holiday Parade: The parade begins at 10:00 am.  After the parade, go visit Santa.

Tuba Christmas Concert: More than 200 tuba players will be there! Pioneer Courthouse Square, 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
